Løbeshop.dk Expo and start number distribution

When the doors to this year's starting number distribution open in the large hall of the music house, Aarhus Motion also welcomes the annual Løbeshop.dk expo in the foyer. Here you can meet exhibitors, suppliers from the running industry, and enjoy fun activities. Have a chat with one of the many exhibitors, shop for plenty of delicious goods at Løbeshop.dk, refuel with energy from HIGH5, or visit Aarhus Motion's booth. Also take a trip down Memory Lane where you'll find medals, t-shirts, and fun facts from the last ten Aarhus City Half Marathons – the first of which was held in 2012.

At the start number distribution, you will receive your start number, water bottle, locker bag, and t-shirt.
 

Transfer of running number/Change of name 

Both runners need a profile on aarhusmotion.dk 

The one who Is selling their running number logs in to their profile and clicks on “profile” in the top right corner and thereafter “your tickets” on the left side (under the profile picture). 

1. Next to the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Halvmarathon-order on the right, you click on the button ‘changes/ændringer’.  

2. Click ‘skift ejer/change owner’ at the profile of the participant you want the running number transferred to. 

3. Enter the required information and click ‘transfer/overfør’. The buyer will receive a mail with instructions and will thereafter see his registration for the race in ‘mine order/your orders’. 

Name changes must be made before the 19th of May for the correct name to appear on the race number on the front of the shirt.  

Name changes after this date will only be visible on the participant list and results list.
 

Cutoff time 

The cut-off time at the BESTSELLER Half Marathon is 3 hours. The 3-hour limit takes a visible form in the cycling officials who complete the route in exactly 3 hours. If there is used more than 3 hours for completion it will be the participant’s responsibility to follow the traffic laws.
 

Cloakroom

Bags, valuables, etc. can be stored free of charge at BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half Marathon. For storage in the cloakrooms, use the provided cloakroom bag. When you hand in your bag in the cloakroom, you will receive a sticker with a number that should be placed on your running number. Only 1 bag can be handed in per participant. Storage of valuables is at your own risk. There are two cloakrooms in the half-marathon area: the City Hall and the Musikhuset. You must use the cloakroom associated with your start group, which is stated on your running number: 

• Start groups A + B must use Musikhuset*

• Start group C + Run With Me must use the City Hall*

• Start group D must use the tent at Musikhuset*

*Chance for changes
 

Minimum age 

Aarhus Motion does not recommend that children under the age of 14 participate in the half marathon. Nevertheless, they are welcome to join the runners as Run With Me participants.
 

Baby Jogger 

The route is full of narrow passageways. Out of consideration for the other runners, we advise against the use of baby joggers or anything else on wheels at the event.
 

Timing 

The finishing time and split times are registered automatically on a chip that is placed in your running number. The running number must be worn visibly on the front of your T-shirt and must not be bent or bowed. 

You will get split times at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, 20 km, and 21,097 km 

The gross time is from the starting gun to the finish line. Net time Is from you cross the start line to you reach the finish line.

Prizes and finish-time-bonuses 

At BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half Marathon the top 20 runners will receive a time bonus of 1.000 DKK.  

• Men: Faster than 1:14:59 (brutto time) 

• Women: Faster than 1:29:59 (brutto time)
   

For the time bonus to be paid the participant must wear the running number visibly. 

Total prize money 52.000 DKK. 

Run With Me rules for participants with a finishing time under 1:10:00 

Participants at the half marathon with a finishing time below 1:10:00 cannot use a Run With Me buddy. Failure to comply will result in disqualification of the participant. 
 

Group and company registration 

Companies or larger groups can participate in the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half marathon as a group entry. This applies to groups of 10 people or more. This can ease the registration process and is payable via invoice. If you wish to enquire about group and company registration, contact us at info@aarhusmotion.dk. 

 
Refund and resale of running numbers 

The entry fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to next year’s half marathon. This also applies if the race is canceled or interrupted due to force majeure.  

T-shirt will not be sent. 

It is permitted to transfer or resell your running number. However, it is not allowed to sell and resell tickets at an inflated price in Denmark according to the law on resale. Therefore, Aarhus Motion strongly opposes this. If this occurs, Aarhus Motion reserves the right to cancel the running number and thereby remove the participant from the start list.
